Kathie Lee Gifford Talks About Her Relationship With Jesus.

By Donald Bohanon… Posted 3/8/2018

The video above is about Kathie Lee Gifford expounding on her visit to the Holy Land and her reading of certain verses in the Bible in the original Hebrew and Greek text which she seems to suggests is totally different from the English version.

She also mentions King David and talks about his personal relationship with God but fails to point out that David’s relationship with God and every servants relationship with God and Christs  has and will always will be based on obedience to God’s commandments and his word, in conjunction with faith and good works.Something she would clearly understand if she were really studying God’s word.

1 Timothy 4:6

King James Version (KJV)

6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

James 2:19-26

King James Version (KJV)
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

With all due respect she is just one in a long line of false teachers it appears who always proclaim the name of Jesus but totally reject all of his teachings and instruction and don’t know or understand the Bible or what she is talking about.Always talking  about love but rejecting God and Christs word, instruction and their law of love.As the Bible states these honor God with their mouths but their hearts are far from him.Matthew 15:7-9.

The Bible clearly reveals to us that our hearts are far from him because we reject his word and commandments and instead follow the commandments and doctrine of men. The truth of the matter is we can’t have a relationship with Jesus Christ or God without doing what God and Christ instruct us to do Matthew 15:7-9 ,Mark 7:7-9,Luke 6:46, 1 John 2:4-6

1 John 2:4-6

King James Version (KJV)
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Matthew 15:7-9
King James Version (KJV)
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Mark 7:7-9

King James Version (KJV)
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Luke 6:46

King James Version (KJV)
46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

John 14:20-24
King James Version (KJV)
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

She also mentions there are many interpretations of the Bible… but that is the problem which always results in gross biblical misinterpretation. The problem most self proclaimed ministers and experts fail to understand is no man or woman can interpret the Bible, you must allow the Bible to interpret itself.

Gross biblical misinterpretation becomes epidemic when we try to interpret the Bible ourselves. This is the reason you have so many differing interpretations of scripture…as a result of false unlearned ministers and those who proclaim to follow Christ, but yet live completely contrary to how he commands us to live.. while applying their own personal interpretation to the word of God.

It’s also important to note the Original Hebrew text doesn’t greatly differ from the English text in meaning. She appears to be making  it out to be a completely different version altogether, which is deceptive and very, very misleading. This is normally a deceptive strategy those who live in defiance of God’s word use to deceptively try and twist scripture to justify behaviors God condemns, and paint a false erroneous picture of God and his requirements.By twisting scripture and taking it out of context.

The Bible warns of these kinds of false teachers in 2 Peter 2:1-3 and also informs us the day of punishment for these false representatives is quickly approaching.God takes misrepresenting him and his word very, very, very seriously because it puts physical and spiritual lives in jeopardy, by painting a false narrative of God and his requirements.Which in turn produces hypocrisy, defiance and rebellion against God,his commandments and his word .This in turn produces hypocrisy and hypocrisy results in spiritual and physical death…Job 27:8.Because of this God promises to deal with false teachers harshly and painfully.. James 3:1,2 Peter 2:1-3, 2 Corinthians 11-13-15.

Nothing personal against her, but she obviously doesn’t have a clue as to what she is talking about. And if she were knowledgeable about the Hebrew and English text she would know God  and Christ’s steadfast requirements in terms of obeying them by keeping the commandments and word of God as a whole is how we establish a personal relationship with them. And is something that’s consistent and clearly laid out in both the Greek,Hebrew and English text.

And how do we establish a relationship with Jesus?.. Matthew 4:4,Luke 4:4,1 John 2:4-6.

How do we express our love for Jesus?. …John 14:15-17..John 14:20-24,1 John 5:3.

We cannot have a relationship with Christ without doing what Christ instructs us to do ….Mark 7:7-9,Luke 6:46, 1 John 2:4-6,2 John 1:9-11.We must follow all  these requirements in addition to having faith in Christ and doing good works. This is the essence and foundation of properly worshipping God and Christ which is clearly expressed in God’s word.

Empty, good sounding words, without biblical proof and support to substantiate those words and claims mean nothing.Religion is based on following the teachings and doctrines of men.Christianity is based on following the teachings and doctrine of God.

This is the simple litmus test to determine whether it’s Christianity or religion that you follow. It’s that simple and not difficult or complex at all to figure out when you know and understand God’s word…Mark 7:7-9,2 John 1:9-11.

The good news of  the gospel is Christ is coming to establish his government here on earth and clean up this mess men and women have created. That government is going to produce lasting peace and abundant physical and spiritual blessings for all eternity.

Repent for the Kingdom Of Heaven/God is at hand…this is the essence and foundation of the gospel Christ taught.Being emotionally charged by good words as opposed to grounded in biblical fact and truth can be deadly, and is tantamount to physical and spiritual suicide.

Repent by obeying the truth in terms of keeping God and Christ doctrine which is based on keeping the commandments and word of God as a whole in conjunction with faith and good works is the message. As opposed to getting emotionally charged by speeches and good words from false unlearned representatives that aren’t supported by scripture. It may sound good with all the music playing in the background but if whats being said is contrary to God’s word and you follow it..that could be a direct line to condemnation and the Lake Of Fire when you are judged.Make no mistake about it.

I’d be interested to know what her book contains. But would assume based on the misinformation she’s been providing in the last couple of interviews, the book is unfortunately, probably chock full of misleading misinformation, and gross biblical misinterpretation as well.
