Gambling With God.

Although I agree with much of what the LCG teaches because they teach adherence to the doctrines of God and the importance of living by them in order to be considered righteous in the eyes of God. I do not agree with the belief that all men will be reconciled back to God.

That in my opinion is a slight doctrinal error on their part and is extremely dangerous. I believe I have proven that point and clarified it in many of the audios on this site. But that belief in my opinion does not dictate that they are not a true church of God.  A slight doctrinal error doesn’t disqualify them as a true church of God.

The fact that they teach all the doctrines of God and follow them proves they are one of the true churches of God. The belief that all men will be reconciled back to God based on the Holy Day Plan is wrong and not fully supported by the totality of scripture.

And it amounts to forming a doctrine based on one or two verses in scripture as opposed to forming doctrine based on the totality of scripture which is how any doctrine or belief system should be formed or created. Creating doctrine based on one or two verses in scripture is something they should know themselves is not how the bible is properly interpreted.

Mankind as a whole will be reconciled back to God but the wicked and ungodly will be destroyed.  For more information listen to the audio entitled “Are You A Hater of God.” With that being said I would encourage viewers and listeners to heed what’s outlined in the videos in relation to obedience to the commandments and word of God as a whole, but not the teaching that all men will be reconciled back to God.

God’s word is clear that the ungodly, wicked and hater of God will be destroyed Psalm 1:5-6,Psalms 21:8-9, Malachi 4:1, Matthew 13:49-50, John 5:28-29, Romans 2:6-10. The danger in teaching that doctrine is it promotes rebellion against the commandments and word of God as a whole.

I have seen people who were ready to repent but when they hear the false teaching emphasizing they will be reconciled back to God and saved no matter how they behave, they go right back to sinning without a worry because they have been made to believe there is no consequence for sin.  Their mindset after hearing that teaching, is, why should I repent if I’m going to be saved even if I don’t repent? A way of thinking which has resulted in many people completely dismissing any previous thoughts of repenting.

The churches belief in that point of doctrine is a result of following Mr. Armstrong’s teachings and not Gods. Teaching there is no consequence for evil behavior cultivates and perpetuates abominable behavior and rebellion against God and his word.

At least as it relates to that specific teaching they are wrong. It’s a teaching that’s completely contrary to what the bible teaches. That teaching is something the true churches of God need to thoroughly investigate and rectify and if not they will answer to God for teaching it, because it is simply not biblically supported.

They are correct and accurate in teaching adherence to the doctrines of God and the word of God as a whole, but they are in error in relation to that point. With that being said enjoy the video above and let it educate and inform you on the importance of obedience to God’s doctrine and the bible as a whole.
