Much is being touted about the Presidents recent gathering with ministers of different beliefs for a National Day Of Prayer.A sort of national day of recognition of God.It’s being compared to what Abraham Lincoln did when the nation was in turmoil and in the grips of Civil War.But is it really the same?
I think it’s important to consider that there were some really important points and beneficial societal virtues at that time,that need to be considered,that are virtually non existent today.Abraham Lincoln called for a “National Day Of Prayer”,but there were some very different dynamics that were at play at that time,that ultimately resulted in the healing of the nation.One of which was a national belief that God was the supreme authority and was to be feared,respected and heeded.
There was a respect and reverence for God at that time that you don’t see now.There was a willingness to submit to the word and authority of God that is absent in this day and age.And although they didn’t keep the word of God perfectly,there was a national respect for God and his word,and a consensus that God was real and he punished the sins of sinful,rebellious nations.This is something the nation as a whole believed and understood.
The nation as whole knew it was birthed and came to power by the divine will of God.There was a fear and reverence for God that is virtually non existent today.The practicing and promotion of abominable sin and perversion was simply unheard of,and wholeheartedly rejected at that time.
Unlike today,where these abominable sexual behaviors and perversions are accepted,promoted and even legalized.And although many claim to know and live for God their actions and behavior clearly suggest otherwise 1 John 3:10,Titus 1:16,2 Timothy 2:19.God promises in his word that when the nation cries out in these times of distress he wont hear it.
The truth of the matter is God will always turn a deaf ear to the prayers of a stiffed necked and disobedient people.God will never come to the aid of an arrogant,stiff necked,disobedient people,unless that people depart from the very behaviors that anger God.A people who will follow the lead and instruction of lying,demented,sexual deviants,and listen to sexual deviants,before they listen to or obey God.
In fact, he takes it a step further, and promises to deal with the disobedience and rebellion in fury/rage/great anger, and to show no pity/mercy, even if the rebellious and disobedient cry out to God with a loud voice in the time of their affliction and distress..Ezekiel 8:18,Zephaniah 1:14-18.
God informs us that his ear is not deaf that it cannot hear, nor his hand short that it cannot save, but your sins(not your lack of faith,that type faith which is meaningless and worthless without works or obedience to God and his word…James 2:20-26) has separated you from God that he will not hear you Isaiah 59:1-15 .
In other words your prayers and cries will fall on deaf ears and he will destroy you anyway.As long as you have sexual perversions,injustice at the highest levels,racism and violence,and the promotion of it in various forms,etc, so widespread and prevalent.And those who promote these kinds of behaviors in positions of leadership and influence throughout the nation, acting as barriers and impediments to beneficial social change and growth.
That is,the destructive,demented,demonic,psychotic,social experimentation they themselves promote.This atmosphere of rebellion will always act as a barrier to beneficial and constructive social change and will eventually result in your destruction.The focus needs to be on those who practice and promote this destructive,social experimentation and environment an stop it in it’s tracks.
Incidentally the correct quote of “2 Chronicles 7:14” should have been in the context of the people praying in conjunction with “turning from their wicked ways “ then the lord will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.Which was unfortunately redacted or left out by Mike Pence.Why? I’m not sure.
But,I must say,the optics of so many ministers who teach contrary to the word of God,coming together certainly looks good on the surface.Ministers who appear to be more interested in photo ops with prominent world leaders,as opposed to speaking the truth and following God in truth and sincerity.Many who tell the people what they want to hear, as oppose to what God requires and desires.
Sad to say,God is not impressed or moved at all.And he is not impressed with the signing of executive orders that can easily be undone with the stroke of a pen,he wants these things to become the law of the land.
I’m convinced the nation and it’s citizens don’t fully understand how offensive and repugnant these abominable sins and perversions are to God.An ignorance that is ultimately going to be very costly.But ignorance is no excuse when God’s hate for it is clearly laid out in his word…Leviticus, 18:22,Leviticus 20:13,Romans 1:18-32, Jude 1:5-7.
God has destroyed whole civilizations because of practicing these abominable sexual perversions.Some recorded in the pages of the bible and some not.And he is about to do the same thing to the United States if they don’t completely reject these perversions and outlaw them.
The truth of the matter is God is unmoved and unimpressed.God says these ministers who are respected and loved in their communities and on the world scene.And who,in many cases,teach that godliness can be equated to material gain,and who reject godly doctrine/God and Christ’s doctrine, are proud and know nothing ,and are not the types of men he seeks,or is working through.God strongly emphasizes they serve their own bellies and not him. Many of them also promote, support and secretly practice abominable sexual perversions that God detests..Isaiah 66:2,Luke 6:22-26,Luke 16:15,Romans 16:17-18,1 Corinthians 1:26-29,1 Timothy 6:3-9, 2 John 1:9-11.
And God instructs us to withdraw ourselves from them because their counsel,depending on what it is,can and will have destructive and deadly consequences on a physical,spiritual and national level.As the old saying goes “action speaks louder than words”…and that applies even more with God.
These ministers speak so often about faith alone being their primary guiding light.They promote the false doctrine of salvation by grace through faith,as the only requirement for salvation.
Without uttering so much as a peep about the importance of obedience to the word and doctrines of God as a whole,in conjunction with the faith.Which is what’s required by God to be deemed or considered righteous in his eyes. The bible clearly informs us that faith without works is dead and non existent…James 2:20-26.Some of them even fan the flames of war as a result of biblical misinterpretation,which can also have dangerous and deadly consequences.

I hate to sound like a pessimist.I’m just simply delivering the truth.God is not impressed or moved by National Days Of Prayer that never address the many underlying issues of abominable sin and rebellion that need to be addressed and corrected,before God will even consider responding to the prayers from those,many of whom God views as hypocrites,and who are motivated by their own selfish goals and personal selfish agenda’s…John 9:31.
I have no ill feelings against President Trump and pray for his success as he heeds God’s instruction.Neither do I want to sound overly critical of him or men with good intention,especially in such trying times.
And I will never allow myself to be caught up in the anti Trump hysteria,much of which I feel is unjustified.I just pray that God will guide him in the right direction,as he heeds the truth that is clearly and plainly laid out in God’s word,as opposed to the counsel of men who teach contrary to God’s word.By taking bits and pieces of scripture out of context, and in so doing lead many astray.

Departing from abominable sin in word and deed should be the focus,not just national days of prayer which amount to empty words, if not backed by action,evidenced by a change in behavior to reflect the proper moral behavior that’s commanded and emphasized in God’s word.
The truth of the matter is it will all fall on deaf ears and God will respond to that rebellion by fury and chastisement upon the rebellious and defiant.And he wont hear the defiant and rebellious in their defiant and rebellious,sinful condition.
Even if they cry unto him with a loud voice in prayer and in pleas for mercy and forgiveness.God will proceed with the destruction and chastisement….Ezekiel 8:18,Zephaniah 1:14-18.
God can destroy whole Universes with a word,how can a nation or nations stand against God’s wrath?As severe as the destruction is presently,God is still being patient with you,and is not pouring out his full wrath upon you,giving you a chance to repent of the more offensive,abominable sins.
God wants to see tangible action and results, he is not interested in or impressed by empty words in the form of “National Days Of Prayer”.And if not prepare to be thoroughly acquainted with the God of wrath outlined in the pages of the bible.
