Question: Do You Have Insecurities? Because Many Ministers And Teachers Of The Word Say When You Judge Others It’s Because Of Your Own Insecurities.

Donald Bohanon: Not at all. Do you think Christ was judging simply because he had insecurities? Because he judged and commands his servants to judge as well….Isaiah 61:8, Matthew 23:23, John 7:24,Ephesians 5:10-13….. Judging as is outlined in the Bible is not done to belittle others, but to convict them in their hearts,to prove to them that what they are doing is wrong.

Urging them to depart from behavior that according to scripture will most certainly lead to spiritual death when they face God in the judgment.

Malachi 4:1
King James Version (KJV)
4 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch

John 5:28-29
King James Version (KJV)

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Matthew 13:49-50
King James Version (KJV)

49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Romans 2:6-10

King James Version (KJV)

6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

Revelation 21:7-8
King James Version (KJV)

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

This is the primary purpose of judging in righteousness, to expose evil and how destructive it is both spiritually and physically, and to urge others to depart from it to insure they are not ensnared and destroyed by God for continuing to follow and or practice the offensive, destructive  behavior.

Isaiah 61:8
King James Version (KJV)

8 For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Matthew 23:23
King James Version (KJV)

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

John 7:24
King James Version (KJV)
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Ephesians 5:10-13
King James Version (KJV)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

The problem with most of these false, self proclaimed ministers, and false representatives of Christ in general,is in most cases they are offering their own personal opinions about biblical issues, without providing any biblical proof to substantiate what they are claiming. And when they do provide a verse it is normally taken completely out of context in an effort to justify some behavior the Bible clearly condemns.

This is one of the primary origins of Christian and or Religious deception. And this is why teaching the word of God while having very little to no knowledge of the Word/Bible, while simultaneously in many cases living absolutely contrary to it, will be judged and punished so harshly by God. Job 27:8, James 3:1, 2 Peter 2:1-3.

Making simple, casual statements, in relation to justifying behaviors the Bible condemns, and that God finds very offensive, can and will have serious consequences when judged by God because it leads ignorant people astray, and down paths of physical and spiritual destruction.

Job 27:8

King James Version (KJV)

8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?

James 3:1
King James Version (KJV)

3 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
King James Version (KJV)

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

2 Peter 2:1-3
King James Version (KJV)

2 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

I don’t judge because I have insecurities I am confident of who I am and in what I’m doing. In fact the opposite is true, those who don’t embrace the truth and run from it are the ones with real insecurity issues, because the truth exposes the very things they wish to keep hidden. Those who expose evil and live righteously embrace the truth and welcome scrutiny because they have nothing to hide…John 3:20-21

John 3:20-21

King James Version (KJV)

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

I judge to expose evil, and to educate others about specific and very destructive behaviors, so they wont be ensnared by the evil as a result of widespread deceptive propaganda, that’s being spread and broadcast by way of false ministers, false representatives of Christ in general, and by biased corrupt media, etc.

This is my motivation, to educate and save lives and souls. Not to belittle. If some one feels offended by my direct and blunt delivery of the truth(sometimes with a little added humor) it’s probably because they are living absolutely contrary to the word and are hiding something they feel ashamed about.

The righteous aren’t offended by the truth no matter how its delivered, but instead embrace, love and cherish it.. But the wicked and ungodly on the other hand are always offended by the truth no matter how its delivered.

Even if I were a little bit more diplomatic in my approach and delivery of the truth, the wicked would still be offended simply because it’s the truth, and it’s contrary to and exposes the ungodly lifestyles they live and love.

This is a biblical fact and truth not just an opinion. It applies to the real world and is true as it relates to everyday life as well. And its not surprising because the Bible is the instruction manual for life.
