Cocaine is a very dangerous and addictive drug. Excessive cocaine use can produce a debilitating condition called cocaine induced paranoia. A result of the chemical composition of cocaine and its affects on the brain. But it results in the cocaine abuser experiencing thoughts of paranoia which will manifest itself in the form of thinking someone you are involved with is cheating on you.
Or in the form of thinking someone is out to get you. Or that even close friends or family are out to get you, whether true or not. It can also result in the abuser engaging in violent acts against those they are paranoid about. Like in the case of a widely covered incident about a famous boxer named Edwin Valero who killed his wife because he thought she was cheating on him.
After taking a close look at the details of the story I came to the conclusion that it all stemmed from his abuse of cocaine. The details of the story and his jealous rages were all signs of heavy cocaine use. He was a native of Venezuela, a country where cocaine is dirt cheap so he had access to the highest quality cocaine at the cheapest prices and was able to afford significant amounts of it because he was financially well off.
The more pure the cocaine the more addictive and psychologically devastating its affects. The abuse, unfortunately, resulted in him killing his wife and then hanging himself because he was racked with guilt. This is not an isolated incident and is happening all around the world.
Snorting cocaine has this affect but freebasing or smoking cocaine is ten times worse and results in an extreme addiction where a person will do anything or sell anything to get it while experiencing extreme cocaine psychosis.
Casual use, even snorting, can quickly and easily grow into extreme addiction, use and abuse. I would strongly advise against cocaine use of any form. These are facts many people don’t know about cocaine use. Check yourself before you wreck yourself!!
