Should A Wife’s Dress Choices Be Left Up To Her Or Should She Follow God’s Instruction On How To Dress?

FULL VIDEO

In the video above actress Megan Good is questioned by an audience member about her revealing attire. The woman made the suggestion that she should cover up because revealing too much skin is a bad reflection of women and is not representative of how a professing Christian woman should dress.

She was immediately defended by her husband who pointed out that she can dress any way she wants in the name of Jesus. That statement coming from a professing minister I found to be very alarming and disturbing.  No true minister of God would ever make such a biblically contrasting statement.

Any statement that flies in the face of  God’s biblical instruction and authority, in regards to this or any other issue is a red flag and is something that should be paid close attention to when gauging or trying to determine who the person is, and who they really serve.  No true minister of God would instruct his own wife to disobey God, which is essentially what her husband Devon a professing minister is doing.

That statement makes me question what his real motives are. That attitude is also consistent with what so many false ministers teach in terms of telling people what they want to hear as opposed to what’s outlined in God’s word 2 Timothy 4:2-4. And that type of position and attitude is normally motivated and cultivated when monetary gain, fame, and notoriety, are normally what’s first and foremost in one’s mind, as opposed to following and pleasing God.. Romans 16:17-18.

Is he her husband or her pimp? Some will ask why is it any of my concern? Well, when you terribly misrepresent God and his word, lead people astray, and encourage them to openly defy and rebel against God, you have made it my concern and business. At which point I’m obligated to expose the fraud and lies.

No one is a part of the spiritual body of Christ unless they keep the commandments and word of God as a whole (the word of God, which by the way emphasizes a standard of dress for women which is a part of fulfilling that obedience to God and his word) and are filled with the holy spirit. If you don’t meet all these criteria and continue to follow them you will be rejected and spewed out of the mouth of Christ  Matthew 4:4, Matthew 15:7-9, Mark 7:7-9, Luke 4:4, Luke 6:46, Galatians 5:24, 2 Timothy 2:19, Titus 1:16, 1 John 3:10, 2 John 1:9-11, Revelation 3:16.

In all honesty, Megan needs to determine who she is going to follow God, Hollywood or her husband. The woman was right in pointing out her obvious revealing attire. But to openly criticize her in front of so many I think may have been the wrong way to go about it. Just as Megan dressing seductively, openly, for many to see is equally as wrong, especially when you are a professing Christian woman.

When practically the whole world knows the color, size, diameter, and circumference, of your wife’s areola and nipples, I think it’s safe to say you have a problem in terms of your wife’s obedience to God and his instruction.

The Bible instructs women to dress modestly, appropriately and respectfully 1 Timothy 2:9. There are numerous verses in scripture where it emphasizes a persons behavior should mirror their walk with God. Her very revealing attire, on occasion, conflicts with scripture and God’s instruction and sends the wrong message and confusing signals to others who seek to change their lives and walk in a way that’s pleasing in God’s eyes.

I hear many people asking the question… who is to judge? But Christ himself emphasized the importance of judging throughout his earthly ministry John 7:24. But the emphasis is on judging in righteousness, in other words only judging when you yourself are walking in a way that’s considered acceptable to God and is in line with his word. Judging is encouraged as a way to expose evil to ensure it doesn’t spread and corrupt to the destruction of multiple millions of clueless conforming followers.

Christ when confronting the Scribes and Pharisee for their hypocrisy went as far as condemning them for not judging while at the same time putting judging on a level of importance with love and faith…Matthew 23:23.

The simple truth and fact of the matter is her husband a professing minister of God, a professing follower of Christ and God, and her head, should never condone or encourage her to dress however she chooses to dress, but how God and the Bible instructs her to dress. Who is in charge, him or God? Judging by his statements and opinions and how she follows those biblically contrasting views you would think, he is her God, and not God.

Because according to the Bible  God’s position about how his wife should dress is totally different than his opinion. Not everyone who claims to be followers of Christ and God are Romans 16:17-18, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Matthew 7:15-20. The Bible offers many examples on how to determine if a person is really a follower of Christ or not, here are just some examples Matthew 15:7-9, Mark 7:7-9, 1 John 3:10, Galatians 5:24, 2 Timothy 2:19, Titus 1:16, 1 John 2:4-6, Matthew 4:4, Matthew 7:15-20, Luke 4:4,Luke 6:46.

The Bible says in the end time many false ministers/prophets will arise promoting behaviors and teaching doctrines that are completely contrary to what the Bible teaches  1 Timothy 4:1 . These false prophets/ministers have a date with destruction according to God’s word 2 Peter 2:1-3, James 3:1, Jude1:4. I also find it disturbing that an audience that claims to follow God and Christ would be so quick to rally around a man who is instructing his wife in a way that’s contrary to God’s word. Is this a case of willful rebellion, or ignorance of scripture, or a little of both? Whatever it is, either scenario is very dangerous.

But the Bible says following false ministers and their biblically contrasting views would be prevalent in the end times as well   2 Timothy 4:2-4. Men and women having itching ears seeking false ministers to tell them what they want to hear as opposed to the truth, to teach them false doctrine that condones their rebellious and sinful behavior, as opposed to teaching the truth that’s clearly outlined in the word of God.

Seeking false ministers to twist scripture in a deceptive effort to falsely justify behavior that’s clearly condemned by God’s word. The Bible says this is what they will do in the end- times. And examples of that type of defiant behavior are clearly expressed in the video above ..2 Timothy 4:2-4.  Most so-called Christians, professing Chrisitians, are absolutely biblically illiterate and ignorant, and are therefore prime candidates for this kind of deception.

Bottom line is, Megan needs to determine who she is going to follow, God and his instruction, or her husband and his biblically contrasting views and instruction. Because when its all said and done she will have to answer for her own behavior and or rebellion, that applies to me, and everyone in that audience, as well as everyone watching this video. We are instructed to abandon all if necessary to follow God and his way, and not follow husbands who promote behavior that’s contrary to God’s word. Wives are no exception.

A very important point that most people don’t know or realize because they probably have never been taught it, is, hypocrisy results in spiritual death when judged Job 27:8, Hebrews 6:6-8, Hebrews 10:26-32. Moral of the story and discussion? Follow God and not men.

Don’t follow the man even if the man who is encouraging you to behave in a way that’s contrary to God’s word is your husband. Her husbands opinions and views will never usurp or override God’s authority and instruction. She will be held accountable for her own actions when she is judged Romans 2:6-10.

And following the biblically contrasting instruction of any man, her husband included, will only exacerbate the outcome. And incidentally her husband will have to answer to God as well for teaching and promoting unbiblical doctrine, lies and falsehood, and for leading the ignorant, naive and unlearned astray.. 2 Peter 2:1-3, James 3:1, Jude1:4.

The Fate Of The Hypocrite

The term hypocrite is used quite frequently by many people but without any real explanation about what it really means. Many people toss the term around and use it frequently. But I’m convinced many of them don’t really understand what it means in the biblical context. The term hypocrite is mentioned quite frequently in the Bible as well but the difference is the Bible explains what it means and how offensive it is to God, as well as how seriously the practice of hypocrisy will be punished when judged.

God actually detest the practice of hypocrisy and gives a strong warning about the consequences of engaging in it. But why does God hate the practice so much? And why has he promised in his word to take away the soul of the hypocite? Because hypocrisy can be contagious in that it makes those who are led by and or influenced by the hypocrite believe that hypocritical behavior is okay in the eyes of God, which results in spiritual destruction. And because hypocrisy can really be defined as just another form of rebellion and wickedness, cloaked as righteousness.

The only difference is the wicked don’t claim to be righteous but the hypocrite who is wicked in many respects claims to be righteous. That is the major difference. One individual knows and accepts that he or she is living completely contrary to the word of God. While the other is living completely contrary to the word of God but claims to be righteous in the eyes of God. This is something that’s very offensive to God and he promises to destroy the hypocrite when he judges him or her.

In light of such an ominous warning about the fate of the hypocrite, I think it’s important for us to identify what it is and how to work to avoid being labeled or viewed as a hypocrite in the eyes of God. Let’s study Gods word to find out how serious he takes the offense and how he plans to punish the act of hypocrisy. Today’s audio is entitled The Fate Of The Hypocrite. This audio was recorded on January 24, 2015. Let’s begin by going to.  The volume of the audio decreases at some point in the audio but regulates to normal volume after about 3-4 minutes.  I also state in the audio that it was recorded in 2014 but obviously what I meant was 2015. Sorry.
