Don’t be fooled by the fake, humble, contrite, elderly appearance. True humility has everything to do with submitting to righteous authority (emphasis on “righteous” authority). When you openly defy God, the supreme righteous authority, that’s an example of Satanic pride at its worst.
The Bible says in the last days a great false prophet will arise who will walk in direct opposition to God and everything he represents. The current Pope appears to be poised to do just that. God clearly outlines in his word that homosexuality is an abomination but the Pope has no qualms about supporting, promoting, and praising the corrupting, destructive, perverted, behavior every chance he gets.
He has been very vocal in the last few weeks about how laws condemning the behavior are wrong. But God says the behavior is to be condemned, exposed, and rejected, Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:18-32, Ephesians 5:10-13. But yet the Pope in an act of absolute defiance and exalting himself above the authority and word of God says it should be praised, supported, and promoted. Who is right in this debate, God or the Pope who falsely claims to represent God?
The Bible says any individual who promotes behavior that’s offensive to God and is contrary to his word is a false representative of God. It’s one of many fairly simple ways to figure out who is really a true representative of God and who is not. The Pope according to scripture will be that great false prophet in the end times (whether it’s the current Pope or a future Pope is yet to be revealed) who will deceive many by false miracles and false teachings.
It’s unfortunate that so many people will be deceived and led to their destruction by this man when simply believing what comes out of God’s mouth as opposed to what men say could easily prevent the deception. Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:18-32, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15. There is one God and one mediator between God and men and that is the man Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 2:5. Not ‘the Pope‘, who is a great false representative of God and Christ.
