Question: Why Don’t Other Ministers Teach About The Great And Terrible Day Of The Lord?
Donald Bohanon: There are ministers in the true churches of God that teach about it. But the reason false ministers don’t teach about it is because they don’t know anything about it and that’s because they don’t receive deep spiritual revelation from God because they disobey him and promote rebellion against him by teaching rebellion against his ten commandments and the Bible. Most of them will support anything for a dollar no matter how offensive it is to God and contrary to his word.
The truth of the matter is about 99% of ministers who teach today are false ministers because they reject the true doctrines of God and Christ and instead teach the false doctrines of men. 2 John 9-11. They instead teach the false unbiblical doctrine of salvation by grace through faith.
That falsely claims obedience to the ten commandments and Bible is not a requirement. The Bible says after the death and resurrection of Christ false prophets would arise teaching doctrines contrary to the doctrine Christ taught and that’s how its been up until now. So much so that they now saturate the landscape and vastly outnumber true teachers of God’s word. And they are in large part responsible for all of the religious hypocrisy you see in society today.
The Bible says any man who stops his ears from hearing the ten commandments even his prayers shall be an abomination to the lord. Proverbs 28:9. Because they reject God’s ten commandments and word they are rejected by God and walk in darkness and will also be caught off guard and consumed when these things come upon a wicked generation.
The Bible makes reference to that coming destruction in Jeremiah 25:32-36 an old testament prophecy that applies today speaking about that coming destruction upon a wicked world and the false shepherds/ false ministers who teach lies and promote rebellion against God and his word. The Bible also says God hides his secrets and only reveals them to his true prophets Amos 3:7. He only reveals his secrets to those who obey him in all things.
