A Las Vegas assistant principal has been recorded making sleazy comments to a 13-year-old female student.
Howard Hughes, 61, was caught making inappropriate remarks to the eight grade student of Del Webb Middle School.
Grim audio obtained by 8 News Now reveals how him telling the girl how she was ‘dangerous’ and got him ‘excited’.
‘I can’t believe I was that close to you. Some things are happening inside of me,’ Hughes is heard saying in the recording.
‘I think about you all the time, like 24/7 it seems like. You don’t seem like a student. It seems like I’ve known you forever. It seems like you’re an adult,’ he added.

‘You look like an adult. Very mature for your age.’
In another segment he discusses wanting to hug and kiss the youngster.
‘If people wasn’t out there right now, I would hug you so tight. I might even want to kiss you,’ he says.
The recordings sparked an investigation by Clark County School District Police and Hughes resigned from his post before fleeing to Texas.
US marshals arrested him amid fears he would attempt to escape to Mexico.
Hughes is currently being held in jail in Ellis County, Texas on a $100,000 bond and will eventually be extradited back to Nevada.
A student told investigators she was first invited into Hughes’ office in October to discuss personal and mental health problems.
But it was not long before the sleazy comments began.
Hughes fled to Texas after the recordings emerged but was apprehended by US marshals and sent to jail awaiting extradition back to Clark County
‘Passionate, like not sex. Not [expletive]. There’s a difference. When you make love to somebody, it’s because you truly love them.
‘Everything else is just sex, or just [expletive],’ Hughes is heard saying at one point in the recording.
Hughes has been charged with three counts of online solicitation of a minor for sex, three counts of indecency with a child.
In Henderson, Nevada the charges are three counts of contacting a minor by a person of authority for sex.
Hughes was hired by the school district in 2022, however he has since been scrubbed from the Del Webb website.
