The United States contrary to popular belief will not be a major role player in end time events, according to scripture if they don’t repent they will be abased, brought low, and eventually conquered with it’s citizens or what’s left of them being taken into captivity in the form of concentration camps.
But there are three kings or kingdoms mentioned in scripture that will be central players in end time events The King Of The North, The King Of The South, and The King Of The East, events that are playing out in the Middle East may very well be power shifts taking place which should eventually reveal who will emerge as the prophesied King Of The South.
There are true churches of God who say that it will be an alliance of several Arab nations as opposed to a single Arab state. What is certain is events playing themselves out in the Middle East should soon reveal who that prophesied King Of The South is, so as not to confuse anyone when the Bible speaks in terms of geographical location, it is normally speaking about where those nations and kingdoms are located in relation to Jerusalem.
The King Of The South possibly a united brotherhood of Arab states is south of Jerusalem, The King Of The North Germany which leads the European Union is north of Jerusalem, and The King Of The East Russia and China is east of Jerusalem.
The King Of The North And South are two of the three central figures in end-time prophecy. These two powers are prophesied to come to power and eventually clash.
The Bible says The King Of The South shall push at The King Of The North or provoke him, this may be in the form of some type of military action, or terrorist attacks, but some form of provocation is what’s being emphasized.
The Bible says the response of The King Of North will be to come against him like a whirlwind with horses, and chariots, and ships, which are merely symbolic of military weapons, blitzkrieg warfare strategy is actually what is being emphasized.
The King Of The North who will be led by Germany is prophesied to conquer and occupy virtually every nation in the Middle East, Daniel 11:40-45, only the nation of Jordan will escape the occupation. The Bible says at that time, tidings from the east and north shall trouble The King Of The North, and he will go forth in fury to destroy and make away many.
Those tidings will most likely be reports coming from headquarters in the north, as well as spies in the east informing The King Of The North that The King Of The East comprised of the communist hordes China and Russia primarily and possibly India and North Korea are plotting some type of a military offensive against The King Of The North.
No doubt the unsettling prospect of The King Of The North being in sole possession of so much oil being the primary motivator. Daniel 11:44-45
Fortunately, this all culminates in the return of Christ to establish his government that will last forever, these armies are actually prophesied to oppose Christ at his return which will result in the most violent, horrific, bloody event that the world has ever seen.
The return of Jesus Christ is actually going to be the bloodiest and most violent event in the history of man, as Christ with his angels along with the glorified saints totally annihilate and decimate these opposing forces Revelation 19:15-21.
Once all the enemies of God are destroyed Christ will then proceed with the establishment of his own government which will consist of the saint’s co-ruling with Christ notice Daniel 7:22, 25,27, Zechariah 14:9, Revelation 1:6, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 2:26-28, a government which will last forever and never end.
We are not at that point yet, but events are rapidly speeding towards the fulfillment of those prophecies. The prophesied King Of The South should eventually emerge in the midst of the escalating violence in the Middle East.
The prophesied King Of The North, The European Union will eventually morph into the ten-nation superstate that it’s prophesied to become in the midst of its economic strife.
The great thing about all this is it all leads directly to the second coming of our Lord and Messiah Jesus Christ, to crush and do away with centuries of man’s failed government, and establish his own government which will last forever, and will produce lasting peace and abundant physical and spiritual blessings for all eternity.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
