Donald Bohanon: Not really. Although I certainly understand there’s a certain danger involved in taking a stand, speaking the truth, and exposing evil agendas. But more importantly, I know that God fights for his servants and can and will make things very difficult, dangerous, and quite honestly deadly, for the enemies of God and the righteous… Deuteronomy 32:39-43.
I know from personal experience that God always stands at the ready, protecting and delivering his servants in accordance with his will Psalms 34:7. God will never allow any harm or persecution to befall his servants that he has not purposed. And if he has to take human life (political figures included) to ensure his purposes and will are fulfilled that is what he will do… Deuteronomy 32:39-43.
I have personally witnessed the enemies of the righteous cut down like blades of grass. I’m neither in awe of nor do I fear any man, government, or political figure. Because my God is far greater than all nations combined Isaiah 40:17. It’s not me who should fear, but them if they don’t heed these warnings.
I take comfort in knowing that God stands poised to destroy the enemies of the righteous, enemies who seek to thwart his plans and purpose. I sleep good at night and do not fear but delight in speaking the truth and exposing evil. Psalms 105:15, Psalms 7:11-17, Isaiah 2:22, Isaiah 41:10-13, Psalms Chapter 37, Psalms 37:12-15, Matthew 18:7, Ephesians 5:10-13, 2 Thessalonians 1:6-9.
