Question: Are You A Hebrew Israelite?
Donald Bohanon: No. They boast about keeping the ten commandments from my understanding (which is where the similarities end) but they also from my understanding adhere to many old testament laws many of which have been abolished under the new covenant. They also from my understanding don’t acknowledge the importance and significance of Christ’s sacrifice and how important it is in the salvation and spiritual transformation of the individual.
They operate only in the letter of the law and not in the spirit of the law which means being led by the holy spirit and its transformational power and its ability to cultivate obedience to the ten commandments and the word of God as a whole. And you won’t receive the holy spirit if you don’t acknowledge Christ and his sacrifice while keeping and following the ten commandments and the Bible.
And because of it, they operate with a lot of hate in their hearts for other races and people while claiming to be the chosen race. While bearing no spiritual fruit that only comes from the holy spirit which again you won’t receive if you don’t acknowledge and accept the sacrifice of Christ as the only way of atonement for your sins and the way to access the holy spirit.
Not understanding that the sacrifice of Christ and the new covenant has grafted all races and people into the spiritual body of Christ if they accept it through acknowledging Christ as their savior and by obedience to the ten commandments and the Bible. So race is now insignificant in the process of salvation.
I have seen videos of them berating people and putting people down because of their race or nationality which is completely unbiblical and against what Christ and God teach. I see no fruits of the holy spirit in such situations. but a lot of pride and an attitude of superiority because they feel the fact that they believe they are the chosen people gives them the right to berate and look down on other races.
They bring shame and reproach upon the name of Christ and God when they do this. But no, I am not a Hebrew Israelite, and about the only thing we have in common is our view on the importance of keeping the ten commandments. They are in error about many things and their behavior in many cases is contrary to what’s outlined in God’s word. I pray God will guide them into all truth and not just bits and pieces of it.
