Although the rise in violence against Asian Americans and Asians, in general, is sad and disturbing I don’t think it can be exclusively attributed to Donald Trump.
I think the fact that the U.S. under this present administration is shipping jobs overseas to China is just as problematic in terms of fueling resentment and violence against Asian Americans.
In addition to the fact that many view the Corona Virus as a pandemic that originated from China. I think both are fueling violence against Asian Americans which is unfortunate.
