Question: You Said That You Would Do An Audio Explaining That Men Will Become God’s. Why Is It Taking So Long?
Donald Bohanon: Yes I did say I was going to do an audio covering that topic. Let me just say the fact that I haven’t done it yet has nothing to do with my inability to provide scripture that fully supports my position.
But it has more to do with the fact that most people, even if you provide a preponderant amount of scripture to validate it, will never understand it, because they are not spiritually equipped to receive it.
This type of deep spiritual revelation that only comes from God, is normally reserved for people who are spiritually mature, and are able to eat spiritual meat as opposed to spiritual milk. I have included a few bible verses below that briefly bear reference to and association to/support my position. But of course the audio will be more meticulous in describing the repentant man or woman’s glorious future.
Psalm 82:6
King James Version (KJV)
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
John 10:34
King James Version (KJV)
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
1 John 3:2
King James Version (KJV)
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1 Corinthians 3:2
King James Version (KJV)
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
Hebrews 5:12
King James Version (KJV)
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Jesus Christ also says give not that which is holy to the dogs, and cast not your pearls before the swine. In other words he’s emphasizing not to share your deep spiritual truths(with the worldly and ungodly) which Jesus and God view as pearls and holy in nature.Because they will never be able to comprehend it, and in many cases may be offended by it, because they can’t spiritually comprehend or grasp it.
Matthew 7:6
King James Version (KJV)
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
So my concern was debating whether it was appropriate to share something so spiritually deep with the world. So the fact that it has taken so long has to do with me deciding whether I want to share it with, and reveal it to people who are not spiritually mature.
But I have come to the conclusion that I should be able to do it in such a way, make it plain, that even the most ignorant and unlearned should be able to put two and two together and see it as it is, and for what it is, as the bible outlines it.
But even with that I’m convinced that most will not be able to grasp it, because it’s not given to them to understand. Only those who are versed in scripture and who are spiritually mature will be able to truly understand it. My assertion is not that men are God’s now, that is obviously ridiculous.
What Christ is emphasizing in Psalms 82:6, and John 10:34 is the future of his servants is to be spirit born sons of God, thereby becoming God’s themselves.Something which is yet future and is briefly touched on in 1 John 3:2. And which is a result of being born again or born of spirit as opposed to being born of flesh. For more information listen to the audio below. I may do it, and make it so you have to register to get the audio. But I’m still presently undecided.
Are You Really Born Again?
The term born again is often used in the professing Christian community. It’s often used in reference to or when describing a Christian conversion. Many self professing Christians believe they are born again because of the doctrine they’ve been taught. Today’s most prevalent false doctrine teaches that once a person verbally accepts Jesus Christ as their savior they’re Immediately born again. But is this true? And how does the bible define being born again?
The bible actually provides some select verses that clearly define what born again means, how it happens and what it involves. According to the bible it does not take place at the time a person verbally accepts Jesus Christ as their savior. There is actually nothing in the bible that suggest that.
But it happens only in the first resurrection and second resurrection of those who are in Christ.Or those who are repentant and bear fruit until the end. The bible also describes it as a complete change from flesh to spirit. From weak to powerful. From mortal to immortal. Let’s examine God’s word to get a clearer understanding of what the term born again means. And what the true born again process entails. This is a relatively short audio and was recorded Tuesday July 7, 2015. Lets begin by going to John 3:1-8.
I mention in this audio that the Born Again Process only happens in the first and second resurrection. But what I was trying to say is there are two stages of the first resurrection. The resurrection of the dead in Christ first and then the catching up in clouds of those who are alive in Christ second. Sorry if I confused anyone. I tried to clarify it later in the audio.
