When you follow your own lust and greed under the fake cloak of following God, it will normally end disastrously and worse than it started. Allowing pride, arrogance, ego, anger, desperation, lust. and greed, etc, to lead you in anything is a recipe for disaster that may not always immediately reveal itself.
