I accidentally mistook today for Friday and in so doing cut down a bush in front of the house. After realizing it was the Sabbath I immediately stopped working. Many Sabbath keepers have mistakenly gotten the days mixed up on occasion.I’m not the first and I wont be the last.It happens.
For those looking for an occasion to condemn– God will never accuse me of intentionally breaking the Sabbath based on an honest mistake. For those looking for a reason to condemn focus on correcting your own sins rather than looking for the smallest thing or reason to accuse or condemn God’s servants.
You will have to answer for your own sins and I will have to answer for mine if they are not departed from.Get your own house in order as opposed to looking for the simplest reason to accuse or condemn God’s servants.
The fact that you look for any occasion to condemn God’s servants is very offensive to God as well.So spend more time working on correcting your own faults and departing from your own sins as opposed to looking for fault in others…where there is none.
Psalm 35:20-24
King James Version (KJV)
20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
21 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
22 This thou hast seen, O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
23 Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
24 Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
Psalm 64:6-7
King James Version (KJV)
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
