She’s Speaking A Lot Of Truth.

I know this to be true because I love my space and privacy and I am very selective about who I let near me because past life experiences have made me a very distrusting person. Dealing with backstabbers, jealous, envious, fake friends and family, and what have you. And now that I follow God and his word it’s compounded even more because the Bible instructs followers of Christ to have no fellowship with the unbeliever.

The reason God and Christ tell us that, is because they know anyone who is living contrary to God’s word can cause a person who is not fully grounded in obedience to Gods word, commandments, and faith, to depart from the ways of God.

Now combine that with the fact that I am a very distrusting person to begin with, and I now have God validating my position, it makes it very, very, difficult to get next to me. It’s almost like an impenetrable barrier. But I like it that way because my peace is protected. The young lady in the video above makes some good points and articulates them very well. I don’t agree with all of her views, but she is pretty accurate as it relates to this topic in my opinion. And isolation doesn’t have to be dangerous, as she suggested, just hold everyone you associate with accountable for how they treat you, that way you can weed out those who don’t have your best interest in mind pretty quickly.
