But, think! If almost any other movement were to make such outrageous statements, it would be shunned\u2014or even outlawed and quickly shut down. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet the very clever leaders of the homosexual movement have achieved almost unparalleled success in having their lifestyle accepted and their goals embraced, attacking the basic structure of American life\u2014the family, children, a normal home life and all that this implies. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Homosexual activists have gained unprecedented influence over the media. Now, increasingly, they are gaining even more power through the courts, through our schools and colleges, and even in the churches!<\/strong><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

What do they seek to accomplish? Jesus Christ said, \u201cYou will know them by their fruits\u201d (Matthew 7:16). What are the actual \u201cfruits\u201d\u2014the results\u2014of the homosexual lifestyle? Homosexual propagandists try to avoid or distort this topic, but every honest researcher will acknowledge that the average male homosexual has about 50 sex partners during his lifetime! <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is at least twelve times as many as the average heterosexual male. And the homosexuals\u2019 multiple sexual encounters\u2014often in bathhouses and public toilets with men they do not even know\u2014result in the spread of AIDS and other diseases at a far higher rate than heterosexuals. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As Dr. Jeffrey Satinover, M.D. reports in his excellent and carefully researched book, Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth, \u201chomosexual men are disproportionately vulnerable to a host of serious and sometimes fatal infections caused by the entry of feces into the bloodstream. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

These include hepatitis B and the cluster of otherwise rare conditions, such as shigellosis and Giardia lamblia infection, which together have been known as the \u2018Gay Bowel Syndrome.\u2019 A major review article summarizes: \u2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Because of their larger numbers of sexual partners and sexual practices such as anilingus and anal intercourse, homosexual men are at particularly high risk of acquiring hepatitis B, giardiasis, ambebiasis, shigellosis, campylobacteriosis, and anorectal infections with Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Chlamydia trachomatis, Treponema pallidum, herpes simplex virus, and human papilloma viruses\u2019\u201d (pp. 67\u201368).<\/strong><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Satinover\u2014a highly respected medical doctor and psychoanalyst\u2014clearly demonstrates that homosexual activity leads to a host of serious diseases and other physical problems, and a greatly shortened lifespan. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Friends and relatives of homosexuals are showing them a great deal of love\u2014not \u201chating\u201d them\u2014if they can help them understand the irreparable damage their perverted lifestyle is causing them, and can help them leave it behind.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBe honest\u2014what would be the \u201cfruit\u201d or result if everyone practiced the homosexual lifestyle? What kind of lives would the men and women of this world be living?
\nNothingness!<\/strong><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Real Purpose for Your Life<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Eternal God created man and woman in His image (Genesis 1:26). He made us male and female. One of God\u2019s very first actions was to establish marriage between a man and a woman as the basic structure of human society. \u201cTherefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh\u201d (Genesis 2:24).<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the beginning, the woman was created specifically for the man; to help and comfort him, to be his lover, his companion and the mother of his children. Most religions and all decent societies have recognized this for thousands of years. For nearly all of us, this has been the basis of our home life, and the foundation for the awesome physical accomplishments of humanity.<\/strong>
\n
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But, enter the homosexual activists. They want to create a society so fundamentally disordered that increasing millions would die of AIDS and other such diseases. Little children\u2014if any\u2014would not have a normal home or family life. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Of course, if any nation actually embraced the full homosexual agenda, its population would soon be decimated, with the survivors increasingly sick and dying. Soon, a younger \u201chungry\u201d nation would conquer the dying nation and so end its self-inflicted misery. We saw this pattern in the decline of societies such as ancient Greece and Rome.<\/strong><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet, we know better! Our living Creator made us \u201cin His image.\u201d By teaching us lessons in this life and guiding us through the Holy Spirit, God is preparing true Christians to be full members of His \u201cfamily.\u201d For Jesus Christ is called \u201cthe firstborn among many brethren\u201d (Romans 8:29). <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And God tells His people not to imitate the vile practices of this world; instead, He says, \u201cTherefore \u2018Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty\u2019\u201d (2 Corinthians 6:17\u201318).<\/strong>
\n
\n<\/strong>
\nBy contrast, the real agenda of the homosexual activists would lead to a complete reordering of our entire society! It would ultimately destroy all vestiges of true Christianity. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The sexual perverts leading the homosexual movement have aims far beyond what most people have realized. Yet the liberal media, politicians and educators are going right along with it!<\/strong>
\nAre Homosexuals Really \u201cBorn That Way\u201d?<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cPerhaps the most damaging assumption about homosexuality is the incessant barrage of propaganda put out by homosexual activists that they are \u201cborn that way.\u201d That they really \u201ccan\u2019t help themselves.\u201d That\u2014even with counseling, therapy or genuine Christian conversion\u2014they \u201ccan\u2019t change.\u201d
\nBut what are the actual facts?<\/strong><\/p>\n

 
\n Read carefully the following comments by A. Dean Byrd, writing for the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality: \u201cDr. Francis S. Collins, one of the world\u2019s leading scientists who works at the cutting edge of DNA, concluded that \u2018there is an inescapable component of heritability to many human behavioral traits.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For virtually none of them is heredity ever close to predictive.\u2019.\u2026 As Dr. Collins would agree, environment can influence gene expression, and free will determines the response to whatever predispositions might be present. Dr. Collins succinctly reviewed the research on homosexuality and offers the following: \u2018An area of particularly strong public interest is the genetic basis of homosexuality. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Evidence from twin studies does in fact support the conclusion that heritable factors play a role in male homosexuality. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, the likelihood that the identical twin of a homosexual male will also be gay is about 20 percent (compared with 2\u20134 percent of males in the general population), indicating that sexual orientation is genetically influenced but not hardwired by DNA, and that whatever genes are involved represent predispositions, not predeterminations\u2019\u201d (\u201cHomosexuality Is Not Hardwired,\u201d April 2007).<\/strong>
\n
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

This respected scientist admits that sexual orientation may be \u201cinfluenced\u201d by a person\u2019s genetic makeup. But it is only a \u201cpredisposition,\u201d not a predetermination.<\/strong>
\n
\n<\/strong>
\nIn spite of social pressure to deny this important fact, a significant number of scientists, medical doctors and other experts are willing to acknowledge freely that no one is \u201cborn\u201d to be a homosexual.<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nColumbia University Professor of Psychiatry Dr. Robert Spitzer, who was instrumental in removing homosexuality in 1973 from the American Psychiatric Association\u2019s list of mental disorders, wrote a study published in the October 2003 Archives of Sexual Behavior. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He contended that people can change their \u2018sexual orientation\u2019 from homosexual to heterosexual. Spitzer interviewed more than 200 people, most of whom claimed that through reparative therapy counseling, their desires for same-sex partners either diminished significantly or they changed over to heterosexual orientation.<\/strong>
\n
\n<\/strong>
\nAlthough still a proponent of homosexual activism, Spitzer has been attacked unmercifully by former admirers for this breach of the ideology that people are \u2018born gay and can\u2019t change.\u2019 Immutability is a central tenet of demands for \u2018gay rights\u2019 and \u2018gay marriage.\u2019 <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Because no single study can be regarded as definitive, more research on people who have overcome homosexuality needs to be done. But a considerable body of previous literature about change from homosexuality to heterosexuality has been compiled, and the sheer number of exceptions to the \u2018born gay\u2019 theory should be a warning to researchers and media to proceed with caution before declaring that science has \u2018proved\u2019 that homosexuality is genetic\u201d (\u201cBorn or Bred?,\u201d June 2000).<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n


\nFinally, read carefully the following: \u201cMany laymen now believe that homosexuality is part of who a person really is from the moment of conception. The \u2018genetic and unchangeable\u2019 theory has been actively promoted by gay activists and the popular media. Is homosexuality really an inborn and normal variant of human nature? No. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There is no evidence that shows that homosexuality is simply \u2018genetic.\u2019 And none of the research claims there is. Only the press and certain researchers do, when speaking in sound bites to the public.\u2026 But before we consider the specifics, here is what serious scientists think about recent genetics-of-behavior research. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From Science, 1994: \u2018Time and time again, scientists have claimed that particular genes or chromosomal regions are associated with behavioral traits, only to withdraw their findings when they were not replicated. \u201cUnfortunately,\u201d says Yale\u2019s [Dr. Joel] Gelernter, \u201cit\u2019s hard to come up with many\u201d findings linking specific genes to complex human behaviors that have been replicated. \u201c\u2026All were announced with great fanfare; all were greeted unskeptically in the popular press; all are now in disrepute.\u201d\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Researchers\u2019 public statements to the press are often grand and far-reaching. But when answering the scientific community, they speak much more cautiously. \u2018Gay gene\u2019 researcher Dean Hamer was asked by Scientific American if homosexuality was rooted solely in biology. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He replied: \u2018Absolutely not. From twin studies, we already know that half or more of the variability in sexual orientation is not inherited. Our studies try to pinpoint the genetic factors\u2026 not negate the psychosocial factors\u2019\u201d (\u201cIs There a \u2018Gay Gene\u2019?\u201d, National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality, September 2004).<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Even the \u201cactivist\u201d homosexual researchers often admit\u2014as Dr. Hamer acknowledged in the above reference\u2014that \u201csexual orientation is not inherited!\u201d Think! If homosexuals were really \u201cborn that way,\u201d it would be greatly \u201cunfair\u201d for the God of the Bible to condemn homosexuality. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He would be wrong to deny homosexuals admittance to His Kingdom, which the Bible clearly shows is the case (1 Corinthians 6:9\u201311). The Bible\u2019s many examples of God\u2019s wrath against homosexual practices would be portraying an unjust God!<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, homosexuals are not \u201cborn that way!\u201d Alcoholics are not \u201cborn that way!\u201d Nor are drug addicts, child molesters or any other sinners \u201cborn that way!\u201d Otherwise, God would be unjust to command them to repent and to change. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He would be falsifying the power of the Holy Spirit to help anyone overcome sin!
\nBut God is not unjust! He tells us, through the Apostle James, \u201cLet no one say when he is tempted, \u2018I am tempted by God;\u2019 for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed\u201d (James 1:13\u201314).
\nCertainly, God has not \u201cmade\u201d anyone to be a homosexual. To say that He has would not only be terribly wrong; it would border on blasphemy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Remember, we are not to hate the sad, mixed-up people who are confused as to their sexual identity. Rather, we should pray for them and try to help them if they are willing to be helped. But we are not truly \u201chelping\u201d them if we accept the false ideology propagated by the homosexual activists. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In their shame and their desire to \u201cgain acceptance,\u201d they are putting forth a continual barrage of mis-information trying to convince the public that they are \u201cjust like anyone else\u201d and that homosexual behavior is \u201cokay.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

 
\nThe homosexual activists and their cohorts in the media try desperately to obscure the horrifying results of homosexuality as it plays out in AIDS, in many other life-threatening and life-shortening diseases and ailments, and in the deep despair and extremely high rates of suicide in the homosexual community. Homosexuals need God\u2019s help to \u201ccome out\u201d of that sinful and very destructive behavior.<\/strong><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

WHO Decides What Is Right and What Is WRONG?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cMillions of professing Christians fail to realize that the real issue here is whether a real, personal God created us and has authority over our lives, and whether the book we call the Holy Bible is, in fact, the Creator\u2019s \u201cInstruction Manual\u201d and was truly inspired by <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

God. As the prophesied end of this present age swiftly comes upon us, it is vital that we prove to ourselves the correct answer to these two questions, and that we act on this knowledge!<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If we did truly \u201cevolve\u201d from lovesick amoebas in the ocean slime, quite apart from any actual Creator, we might feel \u201cfree\u201d to indulge in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, \u201cgroup marriages,\u201d bestiality, child abuse, murder, torture and anything else that our carnal mind might envision. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Of course, the physical penalties of AIDS (and a host of other diseases and maladies)\u2014including a greatly shortened lifespan\u2014would all need to be taken into account. But in our heavily sexualized \u201cnow\u201d generation, with its demand for the immediate satisfaction of all of our lusts and fantasies, even those severe penalties would not stop many thoughtless individuals from seeking instant \u201cgratification.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

However, if the God of the Bible truly is \u201cin charge\u201d of the rise and fall of nations, and if He has a magnificent purpose for our lives, we would do well to heed what the Bible actually says. I am appalled at the partial information\u2014or even disinformation\u2014often published by misguided individuals supposing to tell us what the Bible says about homosexuality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Supporters of homosexuality usually refer only to isolated scriptures, and then \u201cmake fun\u201d of them. Yet any honest person should be willing to look at the consistent condemnations of homosexuality throughout the entire Bible. Then, truly, one will come much closer to knowing the \u201cmind of God\u201d on the subject.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Do you know that the Bible clearly teaches that those involved in homosexuality can change? Writing to Christians in the extremely sexualized atmosphere of ancient Corinth, the Apostle Paul explained, \u201cDo you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God\u201d (1 Corinthians 6:9\u201311).<\/strong>
\nThe Spirit of Almighty God has total power to help anyone come out of homosexuality, alcoholism, drug abuse or any other addiction or perversion! As Paul indicated, \u201csome\u201d of those Corinthian Christians had been \u201csodomites,\u201d but they were now \u201cwashed and sanctified\u201d by the Spirit of God. Over and over, in many different ways, God\u2019s inspired word tells us that with God\u2019s help, a sincere Christian may overcome any sin. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As God inspired the Apostle Paul to tell us, \u201cNo temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it\u201d (1 Corinthians 10:13).<\/strong>
\nIs Homosexual Behavior SIN?<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cBut is homosexual behavior an absolute sin against God and the way He created us? Of course it is! We just read that practicing homosexuals \u201cwill not inherit the Kingdom of God.\u201d And in very plain language God describes the famous philosophers of Greece and Rome: \u201cProfessing to be wise, they became fools.\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting\u201d (Romans 1:22, 26\u201328).<\/strong><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong>
\nGod told the unconverted nation of ancient Israel, \u201cYou shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is perversion. \u2018Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants\u2019\u201d (Leviticus 18:22\u201325).<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is obvious that God is telling us that such practices\u2014if spread across an entire nation\u2014would completely pervert the nation and bring God\u2019s direct punishment upon such a sinful people. Therefore, as a nation, we need to deeply repent of condoning this lifestyle\u2014and ask Him to help us truly turn to Him before it is too late!<\/strong>
\n
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here, it is important to point out, that Christians\u2014having the potential of the Holy Spirit and God\u2019s help\u2014are not to execute judgment upon homosexuals or anyone else! Christians are \u201cstrangers and pilgrims\u201d in a society that essentially belongs to Satan the Devil (2 Corinthians 4:4). <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are not to be of this world, nor to partake in its judgments or its wars. As Jesus said, \u201cMy Kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here\u201d (John 18:36).<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n


\nRather, when we encounter individuals involved in sinful behaviors such as alcohol abuse, drug abuse or homosexuality, we should try to help them. We should pray for them, and we should reach out to them if they are interested in changing. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And we should try to develop the understanding and the wisdom to help guide them out of the horrible problems in which they find themselves involved. Just as there are groups of sincere people who help alcoholics and drug abusers overcome their problems, there are therapists and support groups that devote themselves to helping homosexuals \u201ccome out\u201d of that wretched lifestyle. We should encourage anyone who wants to \u201ccome out\u201d of homosexuality to do so.<\/strong><\/p>\n


\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

There Is a \u201cWay Out\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIn his aforementioned book on homosexuality, Dr. Satinover describes quite a number of organizations that have had success in helping individuals come out of the homosexual lifestyle and return, more or less, to \u201cnormalcy.\u201d Many former homosexuals have since married, had children and have a happy family (Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth, pp. 204\u2013209). <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Satinover describes one typical group that experiences great success by combining \u201cdepth-psychology in a primarily group setting with healing prayer. Participants make an eight-month minimum commitment to a small group, which is focused on sexual redemption in Christ. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For individuals who continue on and remain committed to the process for the long haul, Bergner reports success rates of over 80 percent\u201d (p. 204). This is just one of many proofs\u2014as can be verified by medical doctors, psychologists and sociologists who have worked with these groups\u2014that help truly is available to all who want to come out of the homosexual lifestyle!<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As for me, personally, I would say to all of you who have been involved in homosexuality: \u201cGod really does love you!\u201d God is the Creator of every one of us. All human beings are made in His image. All are made with the potential to be full sons of God.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Bible tells us that God has given \u201cthe right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name\u201d (John 1:12). For God is a family. Your Father wants you to become part of that family, and He has special concern for you if you are willing to prove to yourself that He exists\u2014and if you are willing to obey His inspired word.<\/strong>
\nThe stakes are high! But God has total outflowing concern, which He showed by giving His only begotten Son to die for every one of us (John 3:16). He has promised to give us His Holy Spirit upon repentance and baptism (Acts 2:36\u201338). The Holy Spirit is the very mind and character of God implanted within us once we truly repent and accept Christ as our Savior, our Lord and Master, our High Priest and our soon-coming King.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Certainly, part of \u201ccoming out\u201d of homosexuality involves completely turning away from this entire practice and from being involved with those people who may \u201cdrag\u201d you right back into it! Scripture tells us, \u201cFlee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body\u201d (1 Corinthians 6:18\u201320).<\/strong>
\n Remember, you do not overcome smoking by \u201changing around\u201d others who smoke, by keeping cigarettes \u201chandy\u201d in case you wish to take a puff. You should not be making it \u201ceasy\u201d to slip right back into your old habit. The same principle applies to homosexuality. For your good, think about this and take action! And always remember, there is a tremendous reward ahead for those who truly want to serve the God of creation and fulfill His will!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nEach of us must be willing to go \u201call out\u201d in order to attain the resurrection. Whether this involves coming out of homosexuality\u2014or out of alcoholism, drug abuse or just plain selfishness\u2014each of us must be willing to do our part wholeheartedly. <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And we are promised the help of a loving Father, and of a merciful High Priest who is at this moment sitting at God\u2019s right hand, and is more than willing to hear our prayers (Hebrews 4:14\u201316). So, let us all love one another and pray for one another. \nIf we, as a people, persist in affirming, legalizing and even \u201ccongratulating\u201d those among us who practice a way of life God calls an \u201cabomination,\u201d we must expect that a loving God will chastise us with increasing \u201cterror\u201d\u2014or terrorist attacks\u2014as the above prophecy indicates, with raging disease epidemics, alternating droughts, floods, fires and massive earthquakes. God will indeed \u201cbreak\u201d our national pride and power unless we genuinely repent.
